Norway has announced the death of a child affected by Covid-19, the first fatal case of juveniles in the Scandinavian country. The child's age was not disclosed but, according to health authorities, "he suffered from another serious chronic condition".
"A child admitted to Haukeland University Hospital died of a Covid-related disease," the facility where he was admitted, located in the city of Bergen, announced in a tweet. His age and the nature of the other pathology were not specified.
The Norwegian health authorities had announced a few hours ago the 299 / o death linked to the virus since the beginning of the epidemic, out of a total of 30,133 officially registered cases.
