A man is buried under the snow in his car and is able to survive for two months. Since the man was trapped in the car, so much has passed until another Swede walking in the woods saw the car. A story seemingly impossible, but it's real. The man survived by continuing to feed himself with what he found in the car and warming himself up.
Experts are divided: it is not possible for a man to survive under these conditions for so long, according to some. The fat reserves would be enough for others to enable a person to survive.
The Swedish artisan Peter Skyllberg, 44, stars in this story. It was a policeman who found him because the snow covering the car had started melting in the last few days. The car's discovery: a man reduced to bones and skin. How were you going to survive? Apparently he was covered with a sleeping bag and fed through the window on the snow that came in. Man is in severe condition, but his life is not at risk.
There is no lack of doubts about this story: it is possible that, according to what is believed, on December 19th, no one reported his disappearance. Yet it was approaching the Christmas holidays, did anybody notice his absence? It seems that man has no relationship with his family for years, so it was easy to think that no one would have noticed his absence.
How did he withstand the cold? Probably because of the sleeping bag but also because the snow has somehow become an insulator and the temperature in the car was acceptable in any case.
