Covid: Japan, suicides among precarious workers increase

 The number of suicides in Japan among people of working age increases to worrying levels, a factor that experts associate with the situation of uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic. According to data from the Japanese Ministry of Health, 705 men aged between 20 and 50 took their lives in September alone, 8'6% more than the reference period last year. .

The trend follows that of August, with 706 cases reported, equal to an increase of 6.6%.
    The data concerning women is also alarming, with 640 suicides in September, and a steady growth for four months now.
