Pakistan expels the French ambassador

Pakistan's "diplomatic war" against France is triggered following the French government's decision to publish cartoons on the prophet Mohammed . Islamabad has in fact decided to expel "the French ambassador within two or three months, he will not appoint his ambassador to France and will boycott all French products". This is what the government's agreement with the leaders of the Tehreek-Labbaikh Islamic fundamentalist movement establishes.

For two days the radical group has been mobilizing thousands of protesters in a sit-in protest against the Paris executive on the issue of the prophet cartoons. What caused the anger of many Muslims was the move of French President Emmanuel Macron who, after the beheading of a French teacher who had shown the cartoons in class, reiterated "We will never give in" and then planned to face what is configured as a "parallel Islamic society" in France.

Many leaders of Islamic countries reacted to this stance, and among them also the Pakistani Imran Khan, who accused Paris of "attacking Muslims". Now comes this agreement of the executive of Islamabad signed, as well as by the premier, by the ministers of the interior and religious affairs with the Islamic movement.
